Pet Sitting Services – At my place or yours!

Going on vacation? Need to leave town on short notice? Have a pet with special needs? Get in touch and I will come pick up your pet(s) or you can bring your pet(s) to my place in Columbia Heights where they will have free reign and I will care for them as my own. Or, if your pets are more comfortable in their own environment, I will happily come to your place to care for their every need according to your existing routine. If you prefer I will even stay overnight at your house while you’re away and take care of the place as I would my own.

As an added bonus, if I am staying at your place, in addition to walking, socializing and feeding your pets I would be happy to check the mail, water the plants, adjust the thermostat, turn your car on to make sure the battery doesn’t die, and anything else you need done to give you peace of mind.

Currently we offer walking and play time services in Northwest Washington, DC, and Bethesda, MD. Specifically we offer walking services in Adams Morgan, Cleveland Park, Mount Pleasant, Columbia Heights, Shaw, Ledroit Park, and downtown Bethesda as outlined in our current service area map. If you live near the border or outside of the current service area, please feel free to get in touch to see if an exception might be made!

Training Services

Have a new companion who forgets to do his or her business outside? Or have a cat that won’t stop clawing the furniture? How about a dog that insists on dragging you down the street as he walks? I can help you with house training and basic to advanced obedience training – just get in touch! These services are usually offered as part of a pet sitting or drop in arrangement, but if training is all that you need, I can work with you.

Standard Policies

Name your own price
No special fees -- except a gasoline charge for travel beyond 5 miles outside the service area
No cages -- unless your animal is specifically crate trained
No size limits
No spayed or neutered requirement
No exotic or otherwise undomesticated animals will be considered
Proof of current rabies vaccination required
Environmentally friendly -- completely paperless from start to finish.

Standard Principles of Business

Flexibility – short notice is okay and it never hurts to ask. Going out of town suddenly for a family emergency? Get in touch and if there’s any way I can accommodate you I will.
Reliability -- If I say I we will be there, I will be there.
Communication -- Regular written, photo and/or video updates of your pet(s) as often as you’d like. Customizability -- based on your instructions and the specific needs of your pet.
